Welcome to Medway and District Caledonian Association.

The Association has been flourishing in North Kent since the early 1920's and is now one of the largest in Kent.

Our main activity is Scottish Country Dancing, a very sociable type of dancing. It's good fun and a great way to get out, meet people and make friends. It is really good exercise so it keeps you fit and it exercises your mind as well as your body as you have to try and remember what you are supposed to be doing next! There are over 9,000 different dances, so it's difficult to learn them all but the more you dance the more you learn.

Membership is not limited to Scots, and you don't need to bring a partner as there will always be someone to dance with. Age is no barrier either as we have junior and adult groups with some members dancing well into their 80’s.

So, whether you are a stylish experienced dancer or very much a beginner, we would love to meet you at one of our sessions and/or events.
